Name: The name of the organization is Toronto Free People's Mission (hereinafter referred to as " Centre" ).

 

Nonprofit Nature:

 

The Centre is an apolitical, nonprofit, and charitable organization committed to religious, educational, and humanitarian purposes, as defined by the Income Tax Act (Canada) and Charities Accounting Act (Ontario).

 

Apolitical Nature:

 

The Centre shall remain strictly apolitical and shall not engage in any political activities or support political parties, candidates, or movements.

 

Volunteership:

 

The Centre shall remain strictly a group of Volunteers, supporting the Community.



We are dedicated in the following Activities:

 

1. Religious Services: The Centre does hold regular religious services three times a week (as outlined below) in Toronto, Ontario, to allow members to congregate for prayer, worship, and fellowship.

 

2. Bible Study Sessions: Regular Bible study sessions are being held for both members and non-members to deepen knowledge of the Scriptures and encourage spiritual growth.

 

3. Spiritual Music: The Centre does organize musical sessions to reflect and celebrate the Christian faith, enriching the worship experience.

 

4. Shared Meals: The Centre does host regular shared meals for fellowship, encouraging mutual support and community building.

 

5. Educational Seminars: The Centre does organize educational seminars focused on teaching youth and adults life skills, decision-making, and strategies to avoid delinquency or life disruptions.

 

6. Christian Literature: The Centre does distribute free Christian literature to educate and uplift members and the wider community.

 

7. Evangelistic Outreach: The Centre does participate in evangelistic meetings with other churches, working towards spreading the Christian message.

 

8. Baptisms: The Centre does provide and facilitate biblical baptisms for converts, welcoming them into the Christian faith.

 

9. Preacher Exchange Programs: The Centre does engage in the exchange of preachers between sisters churches in Canada and abroad, ensuring the sharing of diverse spiritual insights.

 

10. Marriage Celebrations: The Centre does celebrate and organize religious marriages for its members, guided by biblical teachings.

 

11. Bible TranslationIntending giving all People access to the Message of the Bible, we are engaged in the translation of the Holy Scriptures, from the original languages. Through this program, in collaboration with other members of the United Bible Societies, we support translation and distribution of the Bible worldwide, so that everyone can read the Bible in their own language, in the context of the original language, the Bible was written.




The Centre is pursuing the following core objectives:

 

1. Spiritual Growth and Christian Education: To assist members in growing spiritually and deepening their understanding of Christian doctrine, emphasizing teachings from the Holy Scriptures of the Bible.

 

2. Character Development: To help members cultivate virtues such as patience, forgiveness, respect for others’ beliefs, and obedience to lawful authority, in alignment with the teachings of the Christian faith.

 

3. Support for Rehabilitation: To support the reintegration of individuals who have faced challenges, such as addiction or criminal behaviour, facilitating their return to society by encouraging stable employment, education, and healthier lifestyles.

 

4. Promote Family and Community Wellness: To foster strong relationships within families and communities, emphasizing reconciliation, conflict resolution, mutual support, and forgiveness.

 

5. Juvenile Delinquency Prevention: To guide youth toward Christian values, ensuring they remain productive and morally responsible individuals, thereby reducing delinquency.

 

6. Marriage and Family Counseling: To guide young adults in building strong, harmonious marriages, creating loving homes, and raising children with love, respect, and a foundation in the fear of God.

 

7. Law Abidance: To instill respect for laws and authorities, encouraging members to cooperate with law enforcement and to respect governing authorities’ decisions.

 

8. Promoting Self-Sufficiency: To encourage work, independence, and integrity in all pursuits, fostering self-sufficiency among members.

 

9. Charitable Assistance: While the Centre primarily supports its legitimate members, exceptional humanitarian support shall be extended to individuals in need, based on criteria determined by the Board of Directors.

 

10. Funding: The Centre shall be funded through voluntary donations from its members and well-wishers, ensuring that all funds are used exclusively for operational and charitable needs, consistent with the Centre’s objectives.

We are a group of Volunteers

 

The Centre recognizes three categories of Membership:

 

1. Regular Members: Individuals who actively participate in the Centre’s activities, contribute to its goals, and demonstrate commitment to the Christian faith and the Centre’s programs.

 

2. Honorary Members: Individuals who have made significant contributions to the Centre or its community, as recognized by the Board of Directors.

 

3. Sympathizer Members: Any new attendee is welcome!
